blog # 6
In blog post 5, i claimed that happiness was the meaning of life. Some people ask, does happiness define a meaningful life? I feel that this argument is weak because everyone is always searching for some form of happiness. Everyone has their own defintion of happiness and happiness makes everything seem meaningful.

blog # 5: The Question
As i have been researching for my final paper there has been one question that i have been wondering."Is there a meaning of Life"? In our text book "Problem from Philosophy", it states that the best life and the happy life are the same thing, and generally happiness consists in a life of reason and virtue. I feel that the individual is responsible to their own meaning. The word happiness best describes the meaning of life, everyone is different so happiness can be anything just depends on the person. In my paper this will be the main subject because who knows if there is a meaning, so the best explanation is based on the individuals definition of happiness. In the text book it says that happiness is self sustaining because happy people tend to behave in certain ways to keep themselves happy. Happiness can have many definitions, so it is based on what makes you happy.

The meaning of life is a hard question to answer because there is not just one answer. This video shows different people sharing there meaning of life. The meaning of life is basically a question for yourself to answer. The meaning of life should be based primary on what a human being wants ouf of their life. This video relates to my topic because no one really knows the meaing of life its just an open discussion. So many different people in this world have their own outlook on the meaning. The meaning of life will always be a big question mark and many people find that hard to believe.

The meaning of life is a subject that can be discussed for days. I often wonder what the meaning of my life is, I am sure everyone does. Life can be described as our present day existence on earth. People today search for this answer and still can feel in the blank. I think the only person that can justify the meaning of life is god himself. If the existence of god is true, then human life must have meaning. I feel that each person has a particular meaning and that meaning is up to oneself. The meaning of life can be thought out to be the way someone picks and chooses how to live their life, and deciding what values is important to them. Living for what you enjoy is more important that knowing the meaning. For all we know there is no meaning of life, we were just placed on earth to create our own meaning. The thing about the meaning of life is that something so complex can not be sumed up with just one answer.

I chose ch4. do we survive death. I chose this chapter becuause i wonder what happens after we die and decieve. what does happen when are lives are no longer existent. Do are bodies just rot away with are soul never to be seen again or do are bodies die and are souls go on forever.
I also picked ch. 13, the meaning of life. I often wonder what the meaning of life really is. There has to be a reason why human beings were created and why they were put on this earth. The real question is, who created us and why? This subjest interests me becuase im sure i would appreciate my life more if i knew why i existed.
